Kathy Bodine
Project Manager
Kathy began her engineering career while still in high school as a draftsperson and engineering aid at Survival Technology, Inc., a high tech medical device manufacturing company. Kathy has worked primarily for manufacturing companies including Bowles Fluidics Corporation, an automotive supplier, and Sweetheart Cup Company, a consumer products manufacturer. Throughout her career, Kathy has served in technical roles in R&D, Product Design and Applications Engineering, as well as engineering managerial and project management positions. Kathy brings to the USS team a multifaceted engineering skill set, a thorough knowledge of the design for manufacturing process along with exceptional project management skills.
Kathy graduated from the University of Maryland in 1986 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. She earned a Masters Degree in Engineering Management from George Washington University in 1991.
At home with her husband and teenage son and daughter, Kathy enjoys cooking, community activities, Scouting, and designing with her many art and craft projects. She is a published paper craft artisan.
