Jeff Zerr
Director of Engineering
Since graduating from the University of Maryland in 1986 with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Jeff has been involved in a wide array of custom designed machinery. His background and experience spans robotics, machine vision, material handling and custom automation of all sorts. In fact, Jeff was named as co-inventor in a US patent for a robotic manufacturing method. Jeff's broad background has also led him to become proficient in several programming languages, including Visual Basic and a variety of proprietary motion controllers.
The equipment Jeff has designed and built automates and optimizes various industries such as automotive, telecommunications, biotech and consumer electronics. Throughout his career, he has served in both technical and managerial roles and has had the opportunity to travel throughout North America, as well as to Europe, South America and Asia.
At home Jeff enjoys spending time with his family in rural Frederick County. He is a leader with his son's cub scout pack and his hobbies include home improvement, photography and biking.
